About

How Does Naturopathy Work?

Esther’s naturopathy approach is designed for people who want to improve their health without feeling overwhelmed. She works with you and your body in achievable steps toward better sleep, mood, digestion, immunity and overall wellbeing.

Naturopathy is a holistic form of healthcare that aims to identify and address the underlying factors contributing to ill health, supporting the body’s natural ability to restore balance and wellbeing. Read more about this profession, here.

Through regular consultations, Esther works with you to create a personalised plan that supports better sleep, mood, digestion, immunity and overall wellbeing. Each appointment builds on the last, helping you make meaningful and sustainable progress while addressing both current symptoms and longer-term health goals.

Using a deep-listening approach, she will help you to focus on your most pressing concerns while gradually working through the deeper layers of your health over time.

All consultations are conducted privately and confidentially via telehealth or in the clinic room, with all appointments and administration are managed through Brisbane Mind and Body Clinic, Bowen Hills QLD.

More About Esther

I'm a clinical nutritionist, naturopath, researcher and writer with one simple goal: helping people understand health in ways that are practical, evidence-informed and genuinely meaningful.

For almost two decades I've worked across clinical practice, higher education and research, supporting people with complex health concerns while also teaching the next generation of practitioners. My background spans nutritional medicine, naturopathy, academic teaching, curriculum development, research and science communication, giving me the ability to translate complex evidence into language that people actually understand.

Today my work extends well beyond the consulting room.

I work with individuals seeking personalised healthcare, organisations looking for clear and credible health communication, and audiences who want engaging conversations about the future of health. Whether I'm seeing a client, writing an article, interviewing experts, speaking at an event or contributing to research projects, my focus is always the same: making health information accurate, accessible and deeply human.

My particular interests include nutrition, mental health, sleep, the gut microbiome, behavioural change, preventive healthcare and the relationship between people, food and the natural world. I'm especially fascinated by the stories behind health - how culture, landscape, community and science all shape the way we live and heal.

Alongside clinical practice, I offer:

  • Research and literature reviews

  • Health and medical copywriting

  • Feature articles and long-form journalism

  • Speaking engagements, panels and conferences

  • Workshop facilitation

  • Podcast interviewing and hosting

  • Educational resource development

  • Course writing and curriculum design

  • Media commentary and expert opinion

I hold a Master of Human Nutrition, a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy), a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching, and a Bachelor of Arts. I've spent many years lecturing in higher education, supervising student clinics and contributing to professional standards within Australia's natural medicine profession. I am currently the Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine Chair for the Australian Natural Therapists Association

At the heart of everything I do is curiosity and connection. I love asking better questions, exploring new ideas and bringing together people, science, lived experience and thoughtful conversation. Whether we're working together in clinic, collaborating on a research project or sharing a stage at an event, my aim is to leave people feeling informed, inspired and empowered to think differently about health.
